Printing media query
Today I simply reloaded the paper tray and was presented with the following error message when I selected 'Print':
"Changing media type to plain paper would cause an unresolvable conflict with the selected custom paper. No change will be made."
I had made no changes. The job required the landscape (wide) format which had to be reaffirmed each time I printed a part. 'Custom' appeared as the size even though the job is A4 and also had to be reaffirmed each time.

There's a bug in MuseScore, which got fixed recently, see #93281: Format change not passed to printer driver, so far only available in the nighty builds

Maybe you could try a nightly build to see whether it is fixed for Mac too and then report success/failure in #93281: Format change not passed to printer driver?

Thanks. I've never been quite sure what a 'nightly build' is but I imagine that, for this plan to produce conclusive results, I'll have to put a new score to the test. There might be a delay (I'm on Logic Pro projects presently). Thanks again, JM.

Just download the nightly build from Jojos's link, then open the same original MSCZ file in it and try to print.

Thanks for this. It's a bit like reading the list of possible side-effects on a bottle of pills. I'll need to choose my moment to try this. John Morton.

Well, we're only suggesting you try holding up the pill and looking at it, so there shouldn't be any risks. ;-)
