can't select midi entry

• Jan 7, 2017 - 11:10

Hello, I am using a keystation mini 32 (M-audio) and it is sain not to need any driver. First I could see see the keybnoard, but did'n't get any sound or note input in musescore. Then I tried another program (ableton live) and my keyboard dit work. Afterwards I coun't select any midi entry because this field has now turned grey. I already removed Ableton from my computer.

Just to be sure it is possible to work with musescore and this keyboard I tried another computer and there it dit work.

I'm rather frustated about this, I dit re-install musescore but the problem is still the same: a grey field at midiselection.

Is there something else I can do?

Cora

Be sure to connect and turn on the keyboard *before* starting MuseScore. Also try Help / Revert to Factory Settings. If that doesn't fix it, then please report the settings you see in Edit / Preferences / I/O, also say what version of MuseScore and what OS.

Hello Marc, Thank you for answering my question.

I tried your suggestions once again, but no result.
I have musescore 2.03 installed on a Windows 10 Home system ( version 1607).
In Edit / Preferences / I/O I see the following:
a mark at 'PortAudio' ,
API:MME ,
Apparaat: Microsoft -geluidstoewijzig-Output,
MIDI-Ingang: no possibility to select anything (color Grey),
Jack audioserver: no marks (also grey at the moment).
