lost save

hi,
ive recently lost the work ive done on a composition. all that i have now is the titile of the composition and an empty page with no staffs, notes pr anything. musescoe didn't crash or anything like that, everything is just gone.
does anyone know what went wrong and can they help me?

thanks so much for your help. turns out i just moved the actual score onto page 2 leaving a blank page in page 1. probably because i was drunk doing this

If there was no crash, then what must have happened is that you inadvertently saved your work to a new file in a different folder than the one you are looking at. Do a search of your hard drive for MCZ files and it should turn up.
