convert score to individual wave tracks ?
I have several scores for ensembles of varying instruments . I know that Musescore will convert the whole score to a wav file , But I would like to know if there is a way to create individual wav file for each track . Is there a plug in that does this or is there a way to do this , I am missing . I do my own mixing and mastering and need a way to do this so I can apply effects to each track instead of the entire piece . please write me at jedijazzmaster@gmail.com

you 'solo' an instrument in the mixer, if you then export as wav you'll have that instrument only

Actually no you don't
For some reason that doesn't work
Creating parts and the then exporting each one as WAV will work though

I'm unsure now, but ISTR that it works in 1.x but does not in the nightly builds?

Well all I can say is that when I tried it from 1.3 yesterday it didn't work for me when I was preparing a rehearsal mp3 for a soloist for the secular choir I direct.
I was quite surprised.
Took me a minute or two to figure the workaround :)

OK, I last did it some 2 years ago, well possible that I mis-remember

Looks like that Solo doesn't work but Mute does in 1.3. If anyone can verify with a nightly ,both should work or it's a bug.

Ah, yes, I probably used mute to get the single instrument wav generated.
I also seem to remember that I tried to get mp3's from a nightly and couldn't get that to work.
But here again, memories may fail on me ;-)

with the linux nightly of to-day, mute allows to hear the resulting wav, but solo deliver a same weight wav which remained mute
