Importing midi files

Hi, all,

Very new to using Musescore to forgive me if I'm just missing things.

I was sent a drums only midi from a friend who uses Sibelius. I have imported said midi track so I may have it notated to pdf. The track is in 7/4, during translation the grace note are being changed to triplets, what am I doing wrong?

Have your friend send you MusicXML instead of MIDI.
MIDI doesn't contain notation information, but only playback pitch/duration of a note. It therefor can not distinguish between grace notes and tuplets.
