Translating sheet music to guitar tab question
Hi all,
I am new here and have been working on learning Musescore. My goal is to arrange classical pieces to guitar tab and I am working on a piece . I can enter these measures using 1/8th notes, but the first note on C is, what I believe to be, an augmented 1/2 note. I have not found a way to enter this so it looks the same as the sheet music (see example) . The C note should ring while the remaining 5 notes are played. Same for the next measure. This pattern repeats throughout the song.
I'm not good at reading sheet music and playing guitar, so tabs help out, and in some way maybe it will help me just read sheet music down the road sometime. If my description of what I see in the measure is wrong, please let me know.

I'm not good at reading sheet music and playing guitar either so TABs are my preferred format. I can say that for me re-arranging pieces into TAB is certainly helping with reading sheet music. I hope that we will soon be seeing your TABs uploaded to MuseScore.com.
