Is there a way to have VERY custom time signature text

Using letters and symbols in time signature text. I was making π/4 music when I found you couldn't past in π. I tried typing in pi and that did not work. Then i tried 3.14 and that did not work. You can only use: " 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 + C " in a time signature. Is there a way to use letters or symbols in your time signature?

The short answer is no.

The long answer is that you can hide the actual time signature and use symbols placed at the time change to look like a time signature. I'm not sure how π/4 would translate to a measure duration though. I'm guessing you are going to set the nominal duration to something like 50/64 and not worry about the rounding.

Custom text in a time signature is simply not normal. If MuseScore did support adding pi to the numerator of a time signature, it would need to know how many beats to put into a measure. I mentioned the only possible workaround at the moment (and for the foreseeable future) in making the time signature invisible and using symbols, you can also use images like text. Managing these pictures takes some effort but if you want it, it will be worth the effort.
