Update Issues for Drumline extension
I am unable to update or install the Musescore drumline extension on my Macbook. I reverted it back to factory settings and now nothing in my previous files using the drumline extension make noise (this is on the playbacks and just putting in notes). I have already uninstalled/ reinstalled multiple times. Anyone know how to fix this?

It makes sense to me that after reverting, you no longer have your drumline extension, so you should need to reinstall it. Does something go wrong when you try? What, exactly, if so?

The drumline extension updates but when it finishes it gives an error saying it is unable to extract the extension. This cancels the installation and makes me update again which just gives me the same error. I've already tried factory resetting musescore, and redownloading the app. It still gives me the same error everytime.

Not enough disk space? That soundfont is pretty huge.

the disk space seems fine
I've updated to the 3.5.1 version of MuseScore, and I'm having the same issue with the drumline. I honestly can't believe it was overlooked in the update. How can it be fixed?

MDL is not part of any MuseScore version, it is entirely separate and indeed hasn't been worked on since quite a while

Csn you explain in more detail the problem you are having? Is it with installing MDL, or with using it? If the former, see . https://musescore.org/en/node/315198#comment-1062182. If the latter, please attach the score you are having trouble with.

I have a problem with updating it. I tried dragging and dropping your file into musescore, but it still shows me the "unable to extract files" message.

Try running MuseScore with admin/su privileges for this.
