repeats

I have created a score which requires repeats. No matter what I do I cannot get the music to recycle from the 'go back' bar (one heavy bar, one light bar and two dots on the left side) to the 'replay' bar ( same but the dots on the Right Hand side). I have used this i other scores and it seems to work OK What is happening?
