Wrong sound in clarinet

• Oct 21, 2020 - 20:25

New score with template file / Band and Percussion / Small concert band
The instruments of the clarinet give the wrong sound. The clarinet expl. is selected in the mixer. (but the simple clarinet the same sound too)

Maybe the problem is related to this (https://musescore.org/en/node/311981) on what I didn't get any answer to.

What's wrong about "Clarinet expr."? It is the Clarinet sound that does support Single Note Dynamics. I can't see anything being wrong about that. And it doesn't sound wrong either.

From that link's troubleshooting section:
...you might need to restart your computer, because an operating system might get confused with the midi outputs and inputs and virtual midi ports.

Also...
Does your real time playback of MuseScore access any sample libraries through a DAW?
What is InfinityGear?

In Edit -> Preferences -> I/O Tab, can you deselect the MIDI Input and MIDI output and strictly play through your computer speakers shown in 'Device", or through Microsoft Sound Mapper - Output?

(General.sf3 soundfont is loaded in the Synthsizer.)

1 "From that link's troubleshooting section:

Answer: most restarts and don't resolve the problem

2 "Does your real time playback of MuseScore access any sample libraries through a DAW?
What is InfinityGear?"
Answer: No yet because I had this problem to resolve first
Infinity gear is my pc name (see picture) and is auto selecting not for me

3 "In Edit -> Preferences -> I/O Tab, can you deselect the MIDI Input and MIDI output and strictly play through your computer speakers shown in 'Device", or through Microsoft Sound Mapper - Output?"
Answer: Yes I test everything in Preferences I/O

But... at least, I thing I found it. The problem is in loopmidi configuration. I had add one port only, so I add another one 2nd port in loopmidi as output as you can see in picture 2
The preferences like 3rd picture give sound on speakers and the preferences like 4th picture give sound on headphones... Something like that.
The most important is to take the right sound of all instruments!

Thanks a lot all who help me! Sorry for my mistakes in the language.
