Playback disabled; can't enable
When I open MuseScore (recently updated to 3.5.2), I can't hear any sound coming out of it. I know there's a setting for playing the notes as you put them in, and I typically have this turned on, but no sound is coming out when I put in new notes. The playback settings (Start/stop, Metronome, MIDI input, back to start, etc.) are also greyed out, meaning they're disabled. I don't know how to enable them. Can someone help me? Thanks in advance.

So, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and I didn't have any luck. I tried repairing, and that didn't do anything either. I also went into the I/O settings and reset the Audio and MIDI devices and installed a new soundfont pack. I didn't have any luck with that, either. :(

Did you read https://musescore.org/en/node/96811? There's nothing about reinstalling or repairing in the list of things to try since these almost never fix problems with MuseScore. You didn't mention which operating system you use so there are at least 5 things listed in there to try that you didn't mention. One of these things help most people.
