Why does my piece keep corrupting?

• Nov 21, 2020 - 14:25

So, I am doing music theory so my sister and I are writing music. The piece I am working on right now keeps on "corrupting". When I try to open it, it says "File "C:/Users/theot/Documents/MuseScore3/Scores/Music_for_Music_Theory/Music#3_Compisition.mscz" corrupted." and then there are buttons that say "ignore" and "show details" and "cancel" when I press show details, it says "Measure 12, staff 1 incomplete. Expected: 6/8; Found: 575/768" It's really weird. How can I fix it?

I'm guessing the triple dotted 64th note is a sign of the corruption and you wanted 8 16th notes followed by 2 32nd notes.

Attached is a copy without a corruption. I created the tuplet on beat 1 of a 6/8 measure (I added it for this purpose then deleted it when I was done). This seems to be related to #309874: In triplet in last Half Note of 6/4, changing last Quarter Note in triplet to Eight causes corruption.

Edit: while recreating the bug I realized that your score was created in version 3.5.0. This bug was fixed in 3.5.1 and the current version is 3.5.2. If you upgrade you will not create any more corruptions like this.
