Alternate noteheads in lieu of fret number in a tablature staff
I can easily apply noteheads to notes in notation staves like treble and bass clef staves.
I also need slash/strum and other noteheads in place of fret numbers in the tablature staff. Is that possible currently?

The standard slash notation commands work in tab. Also the "x" notehead is produced by pressing that key. Other noteheads would need to be faked with symbols.

As a sidenote, to me personally the slashes in tab are way to thin compared to those in standard staff.
In the past I have used a "fake" standard 6-line staff for slash notation for guitar for such intents and purposes like in m97 and onwards in https://musescore.com/jeetee/cozin-all-these-things

Thanks Marc
Two problems:
• Here on my Mac the slash notehead works on treble clef but not in the tablature staff.
• The "x" notehead is out of alignment vertically. That's fixable with y = -0.25 ... but there's not style.

If you are trying to apply the slash notehead directly, no that doesn't work indeed - it's the standard slash notation facility (in Tools menu) that is supported,d not individual notehead overrides.

Hi Mark
Are your referring to Tools>Toggle Rhythmic Slash notation? If so that's helpful in some situations. But there are a number of general issues with MuseScore's Toggle Rhythmic Slash system. I'll start a new thread to discuss those.
