Possibly a bug? Changing staff in piano score
I want to put a note on the lower stave, e.g. changing hands from right to left. Using Ctrl+Shift+Down Arrow works but the info of the note remains the same. Imho it should change from staff 1 into staff 2.

So what? Ctrl+Shifr+Up/Down is for cross staff notation, not for changing hands/staves

Is there a way to do that?

A way to do what? Switching to another staff using the keyboard? Not sure, but I believe you'd have to use the mouse for that

To change the info of the staff of a note.

No. And why would you, the note still belong to the 'original' staff. In the cross-staff notation case that is.
If you want to input notes into a staff, select the starting note/rest in that staff first.

I know, but this is a midi input from another programme so I am trying to fix the mess.
If I put a note on the upper stave it gets automatically a property "staff:1". On the lower stave it is "staff:2".
It seems to me pretty logical that when a note goes from upper to lower stave it's property changes from "staff:1" into "staff:2" since the note no more belongs to the upper stave.

A cross-staff note still belongs to original staff.
If you want notes from one staff to belong to another use copy/cut and paste

OK, thank you.
