Create a Basic Score in 4/4 any Key. Copy and Paste any repeated full-measure figure to a different measure at will. Now add another section to the piece ( i.e. Sonata Second Movement in 3/4, Dominant Key ). Try a Copy / Paste of any repeated full-measure figure (still within that movement), or within the previous first movement. MuseScore CRASHES every time. REMOVE the second movement: Everything works fine. Will send 10 second send screen movie if desired. Anxious awaiting Version IV in order to utilize symphonic instrument voice plug-ins. MuseScore developers are fabulous. Herculean task. Awesome results. A tip of the plumed hat to all of you. Stay safe, and blessings for the New Year.

What do you mean by "section", a section break? Or just a timesig change?
What do you mean by "repeated full-measure figure"?

For the record, videos are not helpful. What we need is as mentioned above - the specific score that triggers the problem, together with precise steps to reproduce the problem (e.g., tell us which measure to copy and where to copy it). Chances are good the issue is some sort of corruption in that score. Which ideally shouldn't cause a crash of course, but we need the score to be able to investigate - also to help you fix the corruption.

Jojo and Marc -
A sincere thank you for the prompt reply. I apologize for my delay. An intervening winter storm here and Covid Vaccine arrangements got in the way. My reporting of the issue was insufficient, as was my "Quality Control" testing prior to reporting it. In the first case - should the issue have been definitive, I neglected to sufficiently describe the platform ( e.g. Windows, OS/X, etc. ). In the second, I should have considered the possibility that the score was corrupt somewhere, and started with a fresh page. I did neither. Lastly, I might also have considered the impact of the word "Crash", particularly with a function as primitive as copy/paste. All are essentially inexcusable from a QC perspective. I regret having wasted your time. The problem was very likely a corrupt score as the identical scenario was not reproducible with a fresh writing. All the more embarrassing, as I am a retired technologist, having more than shallow familiarity with software Version Releases, and QC testing. Again, I apologize.
JoJo - Thank you for highlighting the vagueness:
I can't reproduce. Sample score and more detailed steps needed
What do you mean by "section", a section break? Or just a timesig change? > Time Signature Change
What do you mean by "repeated full-measure figure"? > All notes within a measure, rather than only partial.

In the interim I have downloaded 3.6 and am utilizing the new font. Bravo and continued wished for good health and success in 2021!

No apologies necessary, but still, if you have a potentially corrupt score that produces this problem, it would still be useful to post it. I'm personally more interested in learning how to prevent corruptions than in avoiding the almost inevtiable crashes that eventually result from them, but either way, the score would help.

The forums, probably Development & Technology Preview. Do be sure to read over the existing threads, they may answer your question. Also realize that asking what will be in 4.0 is a bit like asking what the weather will be a week fromThursday - we can make our best guess based on available info, but no guarantees.
