3.6 update crashes
i did the update for the 3.6 version and when i go to open it ... it crashes. I can't open it and i have a lot of files in there!!! Please help!!!

Please perform the reinstall as being point to above.
If it is any consolation, your scores are "in there". Your scores are regular files in folders on your computer and can always be copied/moved/backed-up without having access to the software. Your files are not lost.

The irony here I guess is that in order to revert to 3.5.2, you would need to do the exact same steps (uninstall then installing) as to simply reinstall 3.6. An extra step, actually, in that you also need to download the 3.5.2 installer.
Same here. Very frustrating! Is it possible to reverse the update??

Yes it is, you can uninstall and then reinstall 3.5.2.
But just so you know, if you're really having that same issue, all 3.x installers had that as well..
Have you tried the reboot and reinstall advice?

I just went to the website and installed from there and it worked... no longer crashes when i open it
