Ornaments, Articulations, Lines not working etc.
Im trying to apply harmonics and Palm mutes to my sheet music but the built in midi guitars aren't playing back it as if it was palm muted or a harmonic.

I don't think these are supposed to play back (it is not implemented as far as I know). You may get them to work with a staff text and in the properties of that switch to the corresponding sound

The last time I used it did work in the playback, but yes I'll try that

Share a score where it works and one where it doesn't, so we can check for the differences

I tried finding the original score where the palm mutes worked, I vividly remember putting palm mutes over the guitar once and it worked but I deleted it because I wanted a more open sound, I tried reapplying the palm mutes and it did not play them back like it did a couple months ago. When it stopped working it was not when I changed to Musescore 3.6.

Palm mutes have never played on their own, but maybe you actually did something else that gave a muted sound, like adding appropriate staff text.
