Orchestra Score Extends Down off of Page
I created an orchestra score in MuseScore 3.6 using the Classical Orchestra Template. I then added several more instruments to the score. However, now the score extends down off of the page and disappears; in other words, it is not scaled to fit the page vertically, as seen in the screenshot below.
How can I fix this? I reset all page settings to default, but that did not help, and I couldn't find any style settings related to resetting the vertical scaling.
Any advice would be appreciated, as the score is currently unusable.

You need longer paper. That vertical justification spreads it out if need be, it doesn't condense though

Oh, okay. What paper size would you recommend (I know practically nothing about them). When I export it to PDF, will it scale the score to fit the page?

A3. A full Orchestra score won't be readable on A4
You can also make the score smaller to fit your paper size (few people have A3 printers after all). Go to format / page settings / scaling / staff space. Make that value small enough for your score to fit a page. I do that for most of my scores. I set the value to 1.600. You can still read the music without problems if you print it and put it on a music stand. Plus you have an easier time arranging for doable page turns.

Print it and try to read it at arm-length or more on the musical stand of a conductor...

Holst's Jupiter score fits on A4 paper and is readable. My score isn't a full symphony orchestra; just a classical orchestra template with half-a-dozen added parts. Anyhow, the MuseScore symphony orchestra template is scaled to fit A4 paper.

"Scaled to fit" is not at all the same as "is readable at arm's length"

Does it have to be perfectly readable? Doesn't the conductor just need to see what is going on and where? Jupiter, which is written for a symphony orchestra, fits just fine on A4 paper.

It depends. Published orchestral scores intended to actually be performed would not be printed that small, no - it does need to be reasonably readable. Study scores intended to be collected in a textbook would often be considerably smaller than A4, though.

Okay. My compositions will probably never get performed, so I'm probably fine with what I've got.
