3.6.0 not showing update to 3.6.1 or 3.6.2 on macOS 11.2.1 Big Sur aka 10.16
OS: macOS 10.16, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.6.0.487915347, revision: 1977cb3
Help > Check for Updates shows no updates available.
Tried manual update and ended up with 3.6.0 installed. So is there no 3.6.2 for macOS?

Ah I see what happened. MuseScore frequently changes the naming of the app. I recall it being 2 then 3 then 3.5.x. I got tired of this strange namine scheme and renamed to MuseScore with the result that 3.6.2 showing as MuseScore 3 would not replace it. Consider solved and maybe also consider removing version info from the app name.
Although this still does not explain why no updates are found when checking from within MuseScore.
