remove a measure without affecting next systems
Is it possible to remove a measure without affecting next systems ?
For instance, I want to remove one measure from a blank score, in the middle of the score.
In one system, I have one extra measure.
If I remove the measure, the remaining system's number of measures is changing.
I want to remove the measure without affecting the rest.

Well, removing the measure of course changes the measure numbering.
But there is cure: on the measure after the (to-be-)deleted one, in it's measure propertues, add that lost measure, add a 1 to the measure number, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/measure-operations#add-to-measure-n…

I don't see difference.
Attached is the detailed step I do.
Numbers = images in order :
1- Measure to be deleted is selected.

Insert the system break again, in the measure befor the lost/removed one
I don't understand though why you would eant to keep the old measere numbers, you score doesn't even show them at all

I don't need the measure numbers. I might have explained badly.
I just want to remove one measure of one system, so that the system adjust to fill the width of page without that removed measure, but without affecting the next systems.
BEFORE :
Page 1 :
System of 7 measures
System of 7 measures
Page 2 :
System of 7 measures
System of 7 measures
AFTER :
Page 1 :
System of 7 measures
System of 6 measures ===> ONLY CHANGE
Page 2 :
System of 7 measures
System of 7 measures
Maybe that's not possible.

It certainly is, and easy too. Just place the system breaks properly, that's all there is to it

Perfect !
It works :
1- System have 7 measures, deleting the last measure.
2- Now system have many measures.
3- Select the 6th measure, and do a system break
4- All fine.
Thank you !
