Attach the score - the .mscz file. I suspect the bass clef stave is transposed an octave out.

All single lines end up on one string I would appreciate any help I'am learning how to read music so I'm just taking PDFs and transferring them to tab

In making tabs it doesn't automatically switch over to tabs I have to copy and paste the tabs when I go through the process the tab sheet is blank and that's when I have to copy and paste

This is voice (on a normal staff) and electric bass (on a Tab staff). 2 independant instruments. And a Compressed MusicXML import. Actually a PDF import (from Audiveris) on musescire.com.
Many of the notes of the bass are not playable on other strings.
For those that are, just move them there, select Ctrl+Down
