How do I hide this filename tab?
How do I hide this tab in the screenshot taking up unnecessary space if only one file is open please?
I can't see anything relating to it in the view menu, but I'm not sure what it is called.

You don't and don't want to either. It is needed to tell different score you can have open at the same time apart from one another
I have the same question... I usually only have one file open at a time, so this is taking a lot of screen space. At least if it could be moved/integrated to another toolbar...

It should only be a few pixels. But if those few pixels are an issue, consider closing unneeded toolbars, or rearranging them to require only one row.
