Not able to join measures
I'm trying to add a 2 measure repeat, and I read that to do this you have to join the two measures. However, when I select the measures to join them, the action is greyed out/unavailable under Tools. I also tried deleting the bar line, but this didn't work either. Any ideas for help? Thanks!

This was originally someone else's score that I'm trying to clean up for people to use, and as you can see the parts are very repetitive. My plan was to add 2 measure repeats for 1-31, 31-39, 39-51, and 51-61 but I'm not able to join the measures. Thanks!
How did you select them? When I select the first measure via mouse click and extend it via shift+mouse to the other one click it's possible to join these measures for me. If this doesn't help, maybe attache the corresponding score, to see what happens.

I was selecting the first note of the first measure and then shift clicking to extend it. I attached the file in an earlier comment :)
If you have generated parts already, this option is disabled

So are you saying I would need to make a new score and add the repeats in before I put the notes in or something else?

Nope, you've only first to delete these parts in your score (file->parts...), to join these measures and when you've finished it to create the parts again.
