playback doesnt work
It does not even play. I checked the sound mixer thing and Musescore wasnt shown.
I tried factory resetting but it still doesn't work. I also tried re-installing Musescore again and still the same problem.
I am on Windows 10. and Musescore 3.6.2
Please do help me as I'm currently in a rush to finish an assignment

Best way is to check the other suggestions too. Is something available in edit->preferences...->I/O? For other user (why ever) it really solved it to update the audio driver, ...

Excuse me, I'm using Linux years ago, so meanwhile Ive only a limited knowledge about Windows.
One thing I would check, to press the button "Restart audio and midi devices".

it seems like my audio driver is working as based on the article it doesn't have to yellow mark indicating that it needs an update. However, I did try to update the drivers but it shows that everything is updated already

Even if there's no update available, I would check, if a reinstall of the audio driver would solve this issue: https://www.ecosia.org/search?q=reinstall+audio+driver+windows+10.
But as mentioned, these are only assumptions.

If you are using an external audio interface, make sure it is connected and turned on before starting MuseScore.
