Cross staff notation not working
I am trying to move the e flat in the left hand in m. 9 to the upper staff (Shif +ctrl+arrow) but it does not work. What can be the problem? (The shortcut works fine in other scores)

It doesn't work because your "grand stave" is made up of two instruments. Cross staff notation only works on single instruments with two (or more) staves.

But you don't need cross staff notation to move that Eb (in measure 10 rather 9 as you counted). Cross staff notation is only useful when you want to have a beamed group of notes that spans two staves. Just cut from the lower stave and paste on the upper stave.
