Multiple of the same instrument on a stave
So i want to play multiple C Trumpets together but with only one stave, similarly to the "Strings" instrument where it plays multiple strings doing the same notes. So say i had a tune for example "D,A,Bb,D", i would want 4 or something C Trumpets playing that tune on the same octave as eachother but only one stave. Is this possible?

ive seen that but it didnt work as say trumpet A is on E,A,D and at the same time Trumpet B is on E, A, D. I tried the different voices and it didnt work

Please be more specific, using voices definitely works to represent multiple melodic lines on one staff.
So perhaps elaborate a bit more on what you were expecting to happen, what happened instead and possibly share a score in which we can reproduce your grievance.

E, A, D for both trumpets

it still sounds like only one trumpet, and i think the reason it wasnt working before was cos i was pasting the tune instead of note for note

So you're not really after the multiple notation per se, but after a sound. The "simple" answer would then be; use a soundfont that has a Trumpets section sound.
If you do choose to stay with the default soundfont (or multiple instances of the same sound patch) try slightly detuning one of them
