Soundfont Help
I want to use the SGM soundfont, but I cannot figure out how to add it to Musescore. I added the .sf2 file into the SoundFonts directory, but I don't see it in the Synthesizer tab. Can someone help?

Did you press the Add button to display the dialog with the list of soudnfonts to display? If so, what does show? If not, that's what you need to do :-)

I did press the add button, but there are no soundfonts shown except for the default one.

Check the preferences setting for where MuseScore expects soundfonts

Yes, see Edit / Preferences / General and be sure you didn't tell MuseScore to look somewhere else for soundfonts.
Also, be sure that really is an SF2 file. A lot of soundfonts come in some other compressed format and need to be uncompressed first - merely changing the file extension won't do.
