Musescore playback
Why does Musescore not always play through my computer. If I close the program & re-open it, it sometimes solves the problem. Any ideas please?

Most likely, you have changed audio devices and your OS is not communicating this info properly. I understand macOS has this issue with Bluetooth devices, and Windows can have this issue sometimes after a computer sleeps. You can try toggling the MIDI button on the main MuseScore toolbar to get MuseScore to re-initialzie its audio connections. if that doesn't work, we need more info, like what version of MuseScore, what OS, what audio devices, what settings in Edit / Preferences / I/O, etc.

Marc. Thanks so much you were spot on! I had changed from speakers to headphones, & when I toggled the Midi button as you suggested all was well.
