Playback not working on bluetooth headset
When I play my score, the audio comes through the Macbook Pro computer speaker, although I have my MPOW bluetooth headset connected, and the headset works for other audio. Is there perhaps a setting or preference I need to change?

Connect devices before starting MuseScore.
Be sure the device is selected in Edit/Preferences I/O.

Hi, thanks for your reply. That did not work. I did select the headset, it showed up twice in the preferences I/O list of possibilities. I tried both. I am still not getting sound via bluetooth. So I'm using a headset cable to connect now. At some point I'll test with a different bluetooth device. The headset is working fine via bluetooth in other applications. It's confusing in the preferences because there is an Apply button and also an OK button. I clicked both.

I had to switch to ALSA for it to work. On JACK-Server it strangely wasn't working.

I have this same problem and have tried all these same steps. It still isn't working for me

Maybe you have to adjust it in the mixer settings of your operating system (headset is turned on before)?

I did, and I can't see the bluetooth device as an audio output. Sometimes at launch the play button on the score is greyed out, when my bluetooth device is connected.
