Midi distorted on playback
Hi, MuseScore has been functioning fine until recently, when the Midi playback is very distorted. This happens regardless of whether I am using my Midi keyboard controller or not.
I have opened the Synthesizer tab but don't see what adjustments I need to make the fix the distortion.
I am using MuseScore 3.6.2.548021803, revision 3224f34.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If it's a clipping distortion then try lowering the Master Volume of the Synthesizer. I believe the default is around -40dB

hi, thanks for the feedback. I tried lowering (and raising) the Master Volume in the Synthesizer, and also tried lowering and raising the Master Gain in the Mixer (screenshots of current settings attached in Word document). The distortion is still present, and it is present no matter which score I open or if I create a new score. I am thinking of deleting MuseScore and reloading unless another solution can be found.

First try reverting MuseScore to factory settings, reinstalling helps only in very rare cases
