single stave key signature change works for some instrument and not for others
Hi all,
In the attached score that I'm fixing, having become aware that the key signature of the ENGLISH HORN had to be changed from three to four b-mole to comply with the score, I did not managed to do it when I attempted it, whereas I've managed perfectly when I tried to do the same to the clarinet stave just after it.
Can somebody explain to me why and how I can fix it? Thanks.

Just select the 1st measure and double click the 5* b key sig in the key sig palette. The horns (in F) are transposing, so will loose one b in the process, just like the Trumpet (in B-flat), it'll loose 2* b
I wonder about your clarinets (in B-flat) though, they should loose 2*b too, but don't, these seem to have lost their transposition settings

Are you saying that when I use the 5b for the horn *automatically MuS drops 1*b to fit the horn musical characteristics?

Yes
I don't think you really want local key signatures, or do you?

I just would like it to be as in the attached score's first page, no more, no less.

Then you need different transpositionings than your score's instruments' have, for the clarinetes (you're don't transpose at all), the "Cors chrom. en fa " and the "trompettes en fa"

Maybe like this
