7/64 won't work

I can't offer a real example because copying and pasting the 2 measures causes musescore to crash. I can't delete that rest which is the only solution I can think of. Help?

That rest is probably in voice 1 while the notes are in voice 2. Voice 1 rests can't be deleted. So you can either

  1. leave the rest where it is but make it invisible - select it and press "V".

or

  1. swap voices 1 and 2 ([Tools]>[Voices]} and delete the rest.

If that is not the solution, please come back here and attach the score (.mscz file) rather than a picture.

The score is corrupt:
Measure 76, Staff 1 incomplete. Expected: 3/4; Found: 35/28
Measure 85, Staff 1 incomplete. Expected: 4/4; Found: 56/28
Measure 85, Staff 2 incomplete. Expected: 4/4; Found: 56/28
Measure 103, Staff 1 incomplete. Expected: 3/4; Found: 35/28

There isn't a voices 1 and 2 thing at all, all notes there are in voice 1 only
Hmm, maybe there is, that whole (measure) rest...

Anyway, deleting that measure 103 (and for good measure, pun intended, the next one too), inserting empty measures and reentring the notes fixes that one, same for 76 and 85. Fixed score attached, double check those measures.
Those corruptions most probably crept in via MIDI import
