Changing beam length
I'm struggling with the eighth note G in the last bar. It's supposed to be moved to the treble clef, but it doesn't sit along side of the A natural if the last A is in the bass clef. I've tried putting those four eighth notes in both the treble and bass clefs. As long as I don't move the last A, everything looks fine. However, once the A is moved, the G and other A don't line up next to each other.
I can change the offset of the note and the stem, but I can't change the size of the beam. Is there a way to reduce or lengthen the beam so the sequence doesn't look clunky?

Oh my goodness, Jm6stringer! How wonderful! I was using the offsets. I didn't know anything about doubleclick Ctrl left! It's BEAUTIFUL!

Double click puts a note in edit mode.
Then using ctrl+arrows moves it by 1sp.
The end result is identical to not using double click and setting the offset in the inspector.

Concerning the use of "offset", be careful....

and pay special attention to where it reads:
"Alternatively, you can select the notehead and change the "Horizontal offset" (under "Chord") in the Inspector."
N.B.: The offset adjustment to use for this is found under the Chord section in the Inspector.

Thanks, Jm6stringer. This is wonderful. I'm unlikely to use offset in the future. This is so much faster than moving individual notes, stems, and flags. It's most lovely! <3
