Natural sign not showing when writing chord symbol
Hello everyone,
I'm trying to write a chord symbol which contains a natural sign, so I'm writing 'natural' without any space like the guide says: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/chord-symbols, but as you can see this isn't working.
A few bars later I wrote 'e7/9natural' as chord symbol (exactly like the am6/cnatural chord symbol I have a problem with) and this one is working perfectly.
Thank you so much

"e7/9natrural" works for me:
Ah, you want "am6/cnatural", so try "am6/C natural", a Ctrl+space before the n (and a capital C):
Note though that neither does playback properly
Also Ctrl+Shift+H is easier and works too
So I've now removed that rather convoluted 'natural' entry from the handbook

Thank you so much for your help. Ctrl+Shift+H is a very handy shortcut! It would be nice to have it working, at least when exporting XML.
I can see that it doesn't turn a small 'c' in a capital 'C' tho, so you have to write 'C' in the first place.
As a side note and styling suggestion, wouldn't be better to see that natural accidental more near the 'A' rather than the 'm' of "minor"? I mean, I can adjust it manually of course, but all the other accidentals are harmonically spaced this one is the only a bit off.

I did mentione the need fot a capital C...
That also is a sign that the chord isn't recognized as such, that's also why it doesn't paly back nor transposes nor export to MusicXML. That is documented, so unlikely to change any time soon
The position is embeded into the font, using a different font might change that

Regarding capitalization of the root of the chord...
In Format > Style > Chord Symbols make sure that 'Automatic Capitalization' is checked. Otherwise, the root renders the way you type it.
Regarding capitalization of slash chords, such as Am6/C; normally the slash C will be capitalized and also offset downwards. However, the natural sign prevents both the capitalization and the offset of the slash note. Neither the sharp nor flat sign suffer from this.

That capitalize isn't the issue in in this case

There are a few issues mentioned here: The natural sign not showing; a small 'c' not turned into a capital 'C'; kerning of the A♮m chord.
For this issue:
I can see that it doesn't turn a small 'c' in a capital 'C' tho, so you have to write 'C' in the first place.
Capitalization works for the root of a chord symbol. It also works for a slash note (unless the slash note includes a natural sign). See picture above.
Is there another case?
