Audio Playback Not Working

My scores simply won't play! I've tried everything on this How To : https://musescore.org/en/node/96811#:~:text=Check%20Edit%20%E2%86%92%20….
Still no playback. Any ideas?

My specs:
Musescore 3.6.2.5
Mac OS Monterey

Be sure to also follow the part of the step where you list other system info (and also you might want to double-check the other steps to be sure you didn't miss part of them).

Another possibility is that some other app on your system has requested exclusive use of your audio device. You might need to get macOS to disallow that.

Hi Marc, thanks for the reply. I tried your suggestions and still nothing! I've triple checked all the steps. What other system info should I give?

I've reset factory settings, reinstalled the app and made sure none of my apps have requested exclusive use of my audio device. The playback button remains greyed out, as pictured.

I thought perhaps all my soundfonts went missing?
