Backup linux mint musescore 3.6

• Jul 11, 2022 - 12:25

Hello,

I lost my music sheet, a previous version I think.
The problem is that I don't find any backup. It's strange but all my files (.mscx) are each in an archive : I have to open the archive first and then open my .mscx
So, that's maybe the reason I don't find any backup.
Someone can help me to find the backup ?

Thank you (and sorry, I don't speak english very well).

Thank you.
Do you know where is the backup for .mscz (or for the .mscx that is inside) ?
Or at least, do you know how I can save my files directly in .mscx for not having the same problem in the future ?

(I see that we can extract the mscx from the mscz in a new folder in order to open and save directly the mscx, and then I have the backup folder.)

“ls -a” is the standard Linux command )eg, to type into a terminal) to list all files/folders.

If you’re not seeing any backup files or folders, you are either looking in the wrong folder, or you haven’t actually enabled hidden files everywhere (perhaps it’s only for certain folders, or only in certain apps). Hence the suggestion to use a reliable method like the standard Linux command.
