Accordion instrument uses 2 staves. Use the 2nd staff for the chord accompaniment.

You'd have to add all notes you want to hear.
If you can describe in more detail what you want, we can understand and assist better. In general, if you want to hear a note, you put it on the staff. If you want to hear a full chord, you write the chord symbol (Ctrl+K). I understand accordion sometimes uses special notations, but they differ between poublishtrs, and most of us aren't really familiar with the different options out there or which one you might mean. So a picture of a score showing what you want to achieve would help, if you need further assistance.
