Strange violin sound

The violin was sounding fine before, but then it somehow switched to this worse sound upon fiddling in synthesiser - not sure what happened. The best example is bar 13 in the violin.

Go to View / Mixer, and select the violin channel at the bottom, then look at the sound you've chosen at the top "slow violin". You don't want that - should be "Violin Expr". The "slow" sound is meant only for dreamy synth-like pads. And whatever sound you choose, it needs to be an "expr" version or your dynamics won't work correctly (unless you disable single note dynamics in the staff/part properties, which you shouldn't).
