Beaming Notes Across Measures
How do I connect notes with a beam when the notes are in different measures? It seems to work sometimes when I just alter the beams like you would normally do but sometimes it doesn't do anything.

This doesn't work for me. Normally I can add a beam middle to the right note and not add a beam start to the left note and it will connect.

Please can you attach your sample score (without the beam), and state the "steps to reproduce the problem"?
Then someone will be able to offer detailed advice.
