How do I mute chord charts in MuseScore? I want the chart to be seen but not played together with the rest of the playback.

It keeps telling me to go to "chord symbol" in the inspector. There's no such thing. I don't want a silenced note, I want the chart itself to not play, because for some reason it does...

Fretboard diagrams don't play, the can't (unfortunately, would give a much better and more exact voicing). Chord symbols do, unless disabled to do so, the handbook describes that.

Yo. Just figured out what I was supposed to do. Thanks for the detailed explanation, don't think I would've succeeded without knowing that it wasn't the fretboard that plays. (Facepalms)
