Violin extended bow markings
I have looked at the Master Palette and cannot find symbols for the following common violin bow markings – the bottom three shown in the image:
- Tip of the bow
- Middle of the bow
- Heel of the bow
Do these exist in Bravura? Or elsewhere?
Comments
If they are not shown in the master palette's symbols palette they don't exist in Bravura nor SMuFL
Well they exist now:

but how to I add them I tried to find Bravura and SMuFL and how to install them but I didn't understand how
Here is a quick DIY palette of symbols. I'm sure a violinist could improve upon this.
Download/Save the .MPAL file
Right-click on an existing palette and choose Load Palette
Select the Violin_Bowing.MPAL file

Hi, How do I fix this?

Hard to say for sure what is going on, but it looks kind of like you added images to your score, then to your palette, and then deleted the images. So now they can't display anymore.

I did what he said I created a new pallet then added the file that was attached maybe it's because I don't have a font?

Yeah, I think you need the images thesemvles. Best to just download those (the SVG files in a previous post) and use them to create the palette yourself. See the handbook under "custom palettes" for more info.

The images do not show, because the hardcoded path (probably) does not exist on your system.
e.g.
/media/ian/cc4bc580-1075-4d56-a1cb-f9703aef1419/Downloads/Violin Middle of Bow.svg
If you try this with Musescore 4, the program will refuse to start afterwards,

This until you fix the palettes file.

Sorry double post.
May i add that his procedure:
https://musescore.org/en/node/321685
does not work as described.
Probably MS4 should not stop working for such error.

I'll look into to what you were saying, but meanwhile I found another way I dragged the svg file into musescore then I pressed commanded shift dragged it into a pallet then named the object and it worked
