I tried to reset and F 9 and finally deleted the program and reinstalled it. Now I can not see the full note selection only half notes and whole notes.
All of my Mscz files which I could edit have now become another type which I can not open.

Perhaps you are in the Basic workspace, instead of the Advanced workspace? See the dropdown choice at top right of the screen.

Nothing about a reset or reinstalling will ever change your files in any way whatsoever. Every single file you have ever saved is still exactly where you left it, every byte exactly the same as when you saved it before. 100% guaranteed.
