Feature: Tinted background for each stave (replicating DAW aesthetics)

I'm having a lot of trouble navigating around in my giant orchestral score. When zoomed out, the instrument names are tiny and my screen is big. Copying something from Cello to Bassoon involves lots of squinting to make sure I'm scrolling to the correct staff.

It would be super convenient and easy on the eyes to allow a slight tinted background for particular staves (customizable color). Take a look at my quick mock-up (I know, it's Sibelius... but they will never listen :).

Would love to see this UI trick, which DAW software has been using since forever, in my notation software.
