Adding special characters to a palette in MS4

In MuseScore 3, you can add special characters like elisions, em dashes, curly quotes, etc. to a customized palette. I find this very convenient, and it doesn't seem like you can do that in MuseScore 4. Is this a feature that could be added/will be added?

Yeah, in Mu3 I could drag symbols from that to a customized palette I had in the sidebar with the default barlines/repeats and jumps/etc. palettes so the characters I used the most were very easily accessible. Somehow in Mu4 I got the elision symbol over there but I don't know how! Sorry this turned more into a tutorial, but I really appreciate the help!

FYI: If Shift + F2 does not open the Special Characters Palette, make sure you have a CURSOR (|) showing within text (Lyrics, title, whatever kind). Even if you have text highlighted/selected, if you don’t have a cursor to insert text the palette won’t open.

I noticed this when I tried building a custom palette for Polish special letters (ą, ć, ę, ł, ó, ś, ż) BEFORE I had any text. It was frustrating!
