I am attaching this musescore file where I explain the steps I followed to find the problem.
Basically, in a score that is not linked to another through the instruments palett, I can put any type of tuplet.
If my score has for example a linked guitar tab and I try to place a tuplet musescore crashes.
OS: Linux Mint 20.1, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.1.0-231921359, revision: 2e3a93a
Confirmed. Trying to enter any tuplet in a linked staff/tab pair crashes the app.

For the record: this works fine in MuS 3.6.2.
So it is worth to report it on GitHub.

Confirmed too. Really dreadful :(

Until the 4.0.2
OS: Windows 10 Version 2009 or later, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.1.0-231921402, revision: 2e3a93a;
Musescore 4.1 crashes when adding a tuplet with any linked staff and not just with linked guitar tabs.
If you copy and paste a previously created tuplet with both the main and the linked staff selected and paste into the note where you want it. It will kind of of work and it plays back "correctly" but it does not list as a tuplet and there is no bracket or number either. If you try to save, the file shows errors like below:
Incomplete measure: Full score, measure 13, staff 1. Found: 7/8. Expected: 3/4.
Incomplete measure: Full score, measure 14, staff 1. Found: 7/8. Expected: 3/4.
If you ignore and save; the file is corrupted.

The tuplet crash was just discovered and reported and a fix is on the way for the next update.
If you are also seeing an issue with corruption, please attach your score and precise steps to reproduce the problem so we can confrim.
