BUG: Grace notes after are not time-aligned across systems
OS: Windows 10 Version 2009 or later, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.1.1-232071203, revision: e4d1ddf
I am transcribing a piece where there's a bunch of grace notes following a minim in the right hand. The left hand has several notes against the minim.
Musescore neither displays nor performs the grace notes correctly as they should be played after the full two beats has finished. Instead it plays after the first note is played and against the notes in the left hand, instead of following them.
Unfortunately no amount of prodding with offsets or leading spaces will produce the desired results.

"Use regular 16th notes"
Surely that would need an extra 2.5 beats in the upper staff? Not what the OP wants?

The OP seems to want the notes to play after the half note but before the first note in the next measure. That implies that extra duration is needed somewhere or the duration of the grace notes need to be zero. It is not really clear what that notation would mean in practice (meaning it is up to the individual player's judgement), but it would probably need an effectively irregular measure duration a la cadenza.

Thank you all for the suggestions. Yes, that will solve both the display and playback issues. Given the huge list of grace note issues to be addressed one day in MS, I'm not expecting swift resolution of the underlying problem.
It will also help with some related issues with inserting notations like breath marks between the main note and following grace notes.
