"Score not valid"
Here we go again!
I saved a score to the Musescore cloud storage.
When trying to re-open it I receive the above error message.
I have tried looking in AppData
I have tried searching under "Library" (etc.)
Nothing works.
Anyone got any ideas of how I might proceed now, please?
Eight days complex harmonisation and scoring (full orchestra) disappeared.
Many thanks ...

Can you post the score?
Doesn't help, but I never, ever save to any cloud storage.

You don't need to open it. I assume you can see mscz in the folder you saved it to.

@voxclamans
Heu no, not really.
By open we understand opening it with the MuseScore editor on your PC
By posting we just mean attaching the file here, not opening it with MuseScore.

When I do that, the "corrupt" score is nowhere to be found, though, when I open my Musescore home page it is listed

Folders where you can search for musescore files (Windows) if you did not save one:
This list may be incomplete or incorrect though
If you find something interesting, copy that file to another location and open from that new location

The listing on the "Musescore home page" contains only links to the most recently used files. If you try to open the file from there and it does not work, it has been deleted, even if the link is still listed.

How can something be deleted if I did not delete it? Or is that a stupid question?

I don't know what you have done! Maybe you moved the file to another folder. Then the link also points to nothing.

I did NOTHING, except save the file I was working on to the cloud storage, and now it won't open.
