To be able to keybind notes into chords *downwards*
"Currently" as of MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.6.2.548021803, revision: 3224f34 (can't use MS4, it stutters), unless I'm misreading the menu, there's only one type of "add note to chord" action that can be keybound, and using it results in the note being added on top of the chord by default.
It would be nice to have both options, either separately or as a choice to be setup, especially since in jazz arrangements there's often harmonisations of the melody being built top down.

That sounds like a plausible workaround, I'll try to see how it behaves

It works pretty well, but for some reason it was unbound by default, and it forgot the bindings again after a few hours of work.
