How to split out choral voices
Having imported a piece of 4 part choral music from a pdf, is there a clever way to split out a single voice, eg just the T from SATB? So if each part has its individual stave, how to remove the unwanted SAB staves completely? If combined SA and TB staves, how to remove the B, other than click and delete one note at a time?
(Similarly removing the T2 if it's 8 part)
Thanks

Add all instruments SA, S, A, TB, T and B. file in the notes, "Hide empty staves"

Thanks. Here's a very simple example. PDF received and hence MuseScore imported versions are attached. Easy enough to take out S and A from the top line, and thanks for the hint about deleting the then-empty top stave. (I wanted to do this for neatness rather than necessity and did it using the Format>Style>Hide empty staves option). Still not sure how to remove the bass part, other than one note at a atime

Fortunately, the bass part is written in voice 2. Use the selection filter for voice 2, select it and delete it.

Sorry - I don't see any 'selection filter for voice 2'

I don't use MuS4 but in 3.7 it is under "View -> Selection Filter" or F6.
Maybe it is in MuS 4 at a different place but I don't believe ...
