Does pressing [Ctrl] B do what you want (adds more measures + barlines at the end of your score)?

Another way is to simply keep typing notes when you reach the end.
But I believe that underquark's suggestion is the shortcut to the menu item Add / Measures, which gives you several different options for adding them.
